For solar and electrical contractors and planners with commercial customers in Germany.

Does storage pay off for your customer?
Tomorrow you will know.

Your customer uses more than 100 MWh per year? Upload the load profile, two minutes. Next working day, three figures: peak load, possible shaving, savings per year. Free, no obligation.

Without numbers there is no meeting. Your customer first asks whether it pays off. The quick check answers that before you put a day into sizing.

What is in
tomorrow’s email.

Three figures and one sentence. From the real load profile, not from an industry assumption. Every figure comes from the same simulation as the full potential analysis.

Peak load

The highest quarter hour of the year in kW, and on which day it occurred.

Possible peak shaving

By how many kW a storage system can lower the peak without the site noticing.

Savings per year

What the shaved peak is worth at the grid operator’s capacity price, in euros.

One sentence on top

Whether the full analysis is worth it for this project. If not, we say so.

This is what it
looks like at a plastics plant.

1.48 MW peak becomes 880 kW. Grid fees EUR 111,600 per year lower at EUR 186 per kW capacity price. Those are the three figures of the quick check, here from the full analysis.

Grid fees on the day of the annual peak, plastics plant example
1.480 kWpeak load, highest quarter hour of the year
600 kWshaving with a 600 kW / 1,200 kWh storage system
111.600 €less grid fees per year

Three steps.
One of them is yours.

You upload, we calculate, tomorrow we call. We calculate quick checks in order of arrival, at most ten per working day.

Two minutes

Company, name, phone, email. Then upload the load profile, CSV or Excel from the grid operator.

We calculate

35,040 quarter hours against the grid operator’s current price sheet. An engineer checks it.

Tomorrow

The three figures by email and a short call to put them in context. No pitch, figures.

Start the quick check.
Upload the load profile.

No account, no subscription, no invoice. After the form you upload the load profile right away or later via the link in the email. If you don’t have one yet, you get the request text for the grid operator.

Frequently asked questions

Why is it free?

Because some of the companies order the full potential analysis or the decision package afterwards. If you don’t want that, you still have three solid figures and no obligation.

Where do I get my customer’s load profile?

From the grid operator or metering operator. Sites above roughly 100 MWh per year have interval metering; the data sits in the customer portal or arrives as CSV or Excel on request. If you don’t have it yet, we send you the request text.

What if storage does not pay off?

Then the email says so. You have spent a day instead of two weeks, and your customer has a clear answer.

What happens to the load profile?

It sits in BESSPLAN’s private document store and is used only for this quick check. No sharing, no newsletter.

Who does the calculation?

Scale Energy, operator and planner of battery storage for industrial sites. The same engine as in the potential analysis and the decision package.

And afterwards?

If the figures are good, we take the load profile straight on: the potential analysis with eight chapters, three storage sizes, purchase and leasing for EUR 290 net. If no storage pays off, you pay nothing.
